Giving Tuesday
International Giving Day

The G&G Pélisson Foundation
pattern-fondation

On the occasion of Giving Tuesday, the G&G Pélisson Foundation would like to thank all its corporate and private donors for their support.

Since 2016, thanks to our donors’ generosity, we have been supporting and accompanying the development of Institut Paul Bocuse through four priorities:

  • the awarding of scholarships
  • participation in teaching innovation initiatives and support for research activities
  • support for the development and modernisation of the campus
  • increasing the School’s outreach.

Appearing in the United States in 2012 at the initiative of the teams at 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation, Giving Tuesday, also known as the World Day for Giving and Solidarity, is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, as a philanthropic response to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Giving Tuesday allows individuals, organisations and communities around the world to come together with a common goal: to celebrate and encourage giving.

Over the years, Giving Tuesday has spread to more than 100 countries and has become a movement that promotes and supports giving and philanthropy.
