Diane Laudic – bursary holder
“At the age of 26, after reading Law at Panthéon-Assas University in Paris and three years working in the hospitality industry, I decided to pursue my studies on the Culinary Arts course at Institut Paul Bocuse to help me achieve my dream of working in the fine dining sector.
My choice was an easy one to make given the excellent reputation of the Institute’s courses. Food and cooking are more than just a passion for me and have always been at the centre of my life. In a way, they are like a journey for me. I was very fortunate to be awarded the ‘Maison La Cornue’ bursary. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to pick up my studies again under such good conditions. My ambition is quite clear, and I want to become a Head Chef. After that, I’d like to set up my own business in honour of my grandmother, by creating a Basque food restaurant where people can dine whilst enjoying a friendly and sharing atmosphere.
I’d like to extend my gratitude to the G&G Pélisson Foundation for making all of this possible thanks to the support of ‘la Maison La Cornue’. Their confidence in me will light the way until I’ve finally achieved my dream!”.
